Story
A decade decoding Kochi for our first canvas.
Alwayshue was founded on a singular belief: clothing should behave like art, not fast fashion. We made our garments to serve as a heavyweight canvas. The clothing is simply a blank surface, meaning your body and presence are the art that completes it. We chose the name Alwayshue because when you find a piece that holds its form, carries real weight, and outlives trends, you always come back to it. Our perspective began in 2014 when our founder, an artist and designer, moved to Kochi. Over the next decade, he became fascinated by the unique design language of the city. In Kochi, art is not locked away in galleries; it is a subconscious part of daily life. He watched people create art on old structures and broken buildings, proving that creativity thrives even within limitations. By 2023, after nine years of absorbing these details, he launched Alwayshue as an independent luxury clothing line.

While Kochi is a beautiful study of chaotic daytime colors, we realized the city truly comes to life when the sun sets. As the day fades, the noisy colors recede, and the streets turn into a deep, beautiful midnight black. We engineered our very first piece, AlwaysKochi, to mimic that exact transition. We specifically chose our heavy Everyday Midnight Black fabric to serve as a direct representation of those weathered, broken building canvases found across the city. To light up this dark canvas, we rejected temporary trends and chose a single, meticulous tone: Light Yellow embroidery, pulled directly from the lone streetlights that illuminate the city and its people after dark. Always Kochi was our first drop. As a true luxury piece, 485 were made and sold, and it is now permanently retired in our archives, never to be restocked. Yet the discipline of that midnight black canvas, and that single streak of light across it, set the structural foundation for every piece we build today.

45000+ Stitches

100% Cotton Fabric

240 GSM French Terry
An artistic vision means nothing without the physical discipline required to build it. Before AlwaysKochi could exist, we had to engineer a fabric heavy enough to carry our philosophy. We traveled to Tirupur, the cotton capital of India, to source pure 100 percent cotton with zero compromise. Because we launched during winter, we knit that cotton into a dense 240 GSM French Terry. Multiple bio washes ensured the structure holds its shape and keeps its deep midnight black tone. Development was a brutal cycle of constant rejections. The team spent a month locked in the studio, drawing the motif. We refused to settle, destroying 7 physical prototypes before the silhouette sat perfectly on the body. The final motif is packed with a dense field of over 45,000 precise stitches, giving the artwork a heavy, structural presence. It required 120 hours of labor before it was ready for our first drop.
